Ingredients
300 g sliced button mushrooms
8 garlic cloves
1 onion
300 ml double cream
1 bunch parsley
1 bunch dill
Salt
Ground black pepper
Preparation
Slice the onion and the garlic.
Add oil in a pot and heat over medium heat.
Saute the onion, then add the garlic in.
Cook for 5 minutes longer, then add the mushrooms.
Cook the mushrooms for 10 minutes whilst covered.
Add ground black pepper to taste.
Pour in the double cream and give it a good stir.
Add salt if needed.
Add in the chopped parsley and dill and cook covered for approx. 10 minutes or until it thickens.
If you think it’s still too runny after 10 minutes, you can add 1 tsp of cornstarch .
Tips
Add salt 5 minutes before it’s ready, after tasting.
Garnish with chopped parsley and dill when serving for more flavour!
