Ingredients
11-12 chilli peppers
3 tbsp non iodized salt for 11 peppers
Preparation
Wash the chilli peppers.
Slice them, with seeds on.
In a lidded jar or container, add 1 tbsp of salt, then 1 layers of chilli pepper slices.
Sprinkle salt over, to cover the slices.
Repeat with 1 layer of chilli pepper slices and 1 layer of salt until all the peppers are in the jar.
Make sure the top layer is salt.
Seal with a lid and keep in the fridge.
Use when needed.
Tips
With this method, my chilli peppers lasted in the fridge for 4 months.
