Today I’m showing you how I make my homemade apple cake using apples from my own garden. It’s soft, moist, and full of cozy cinnamon flavor — perfect for fall.
🍏 Ingredients:
1 kg (2.2 lbs) apples
2 eggs
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon baking powder
9 tablespoons oil
9 tablespoons milk
9 tablespoons sugar
12 tablespoons flour
Powdered sugar or vanilla powdered sugar (for topping)
For the apple filling:
2–3 tablespoons sugar (depending on apple tartness)
A pinch of cinnamon
👩🍳 Instructions:
Wash, peel, and chop or grate the apples.
Cook them with sugar and cinnamon until the juice evaporates and they soften.
Beat the eggs with sugar, then add the oil gradually.
Mix the flour with baking powder and add it little by little, alternating with milk.
The batter should have the texture of thick cream.
Line a baking tray and pour in half of the mixture. Bake 10–12 minutes at 180°C / 350°F.
Add the apple filling, pour the rest of the batter on top, and bake again until golden brown.
Let cool, dust with powdered sugar, and slice.
🍰 The Result:
A fragrant, soft, and lightly sweet apple cake — perfect for autumn afternoons and cozy family gatherings.

🍏🍎 I made delicious apple jam from the apple tree in my garden, a seasonal delicious recipe.
Making homemade apple jam is a delightful way to preserve the flavours of the season, and share a touch of homemade goodness with friends and family.
Enjoy your apple jam on toast, in pastries, or even as a sweet topping for ice cream. 🍞🧁 Remember to label the jars with the date and ingredients, and share the love with those around you. 😊🍯
And for today's recipe we need:
3 kg of apples
2kg of sugar
2 lemons
1 cinnamon stick
1L of water
Directions:
🥄 Peel, clean the apples of stalks, wash them, cut them into squares or pieces as you want and allow the apples to sit in the liter of water for 24 hours.
Now we have to boil them. We add the sugar over them and 4 tablespoons lemon juice, or the juice that comes out of the lemons you use.
If you like the jam more sour, add more lemon juice, and if you like it sweeter add more sugar. But it's best to taste more towards the end, to see how it tastes like and if you are happy with it.
We also add the cinnamon stick and boil for 40 minutes.
In the meantime you can prepare the jars you will put the jam in.
Clean them, sterilize them and prepare lids.
The apples are done when they soften. Even if there are pieces still big, you can easily crush them in the jars, as they are very soft when boiled.
After your apples are done, cool for 10 minutes.
And then we transfer into jars. I don't have cellophane, so I am using freezer bags. Put the freezer bags/cellophane, before adding the lid. Make sure you seal the bags using elastic/string and then put the lids on.
The apple jam is going in my pantry, so make sure you store yours in a dry, dark environment.
TIPS:
If you use small lemons, use 3 instead of 2 🍋.
You can also use even more apples, but then the ingredients or quantity will change.
Whilst preparing everything, if you don't want the apples to get brown,
add a little lemon juice over them.
